FACTS, FEARS AND FIDO

is not your average dog nutrition event.

It's fearless food talk for fearless dog lovers.

In Virchew style, we’re breaking myths, sparking conversations, and sharing the evidence behind plant-powered bowls.

We’ll discuss questions such as:

  • Can dogs really live, and thrive, on plants?
  • Aren’t dogs carnivores?
  • Where do they get their protein?
  • Will my dog miss meat?
  • What about taurine, B12, and other nutrients?
  • Can plant-based food be beneficial for allergies and tummy issues?

Expect myth-busting moments, honest talk, and a few “aha!” wags along the way.

Together, let’s talk facts, face fears, and feed Fido plants.

It might just change everything.

Our goal is that you leave feeling confident so that you can make informed choices for your dog’s healthy and happy life.

RSVP below, grab your seat, bring your dog and a friend! Snacks and treats included!

About the Presenter:

Laura Simonson

Laura Simonson has spent more than three decades exploring the truth about food, health, and the deep bond we share with our dogs. Her journey began in 1989, prior to getting her first border collie, Shanti, and a simple question that sparked a lifelong mission: Could a plant-based diet truly support dogs' health?

Before founding Virchew, Canada’s first, 100% plant-based food company for dogs, Laura created and operated an unparalleled fitness and nutrition studio offering transformative programs in wellness, plant-based nutrition, and personal growth. That same passion for health, innovation, and compassionate leadership now fuels her work redefining canine nutrition through evidence and heart.

She’s seen it all. Every trend, every myth, and every “what if.” And she’s here to share the facts, face the fears, and change how we feed Fido for good.
